Teaching Certification

Teacher Certification varies greatly from state to state. All of them require completion of specified scholastic requirements from an accredited university or college. To find out the exact requirements for any particular state, go here. Then look up any state and find out the exact requirements.

Most states require a minimum score on some sort of standardized test. The majority of them use the Praxis examination. A summary of test information is available through the Educational Testing Service (ETS). The ETS site also has specific information on each test, sample test questions and registration information.
